Privacy Policy
Last updated:
You can play every mode offline without an account. Gameplay analytics is optional and stays off unless you choose to share it.
About this policy
This policy explains how 4032 Games handles information in the Final Cover iPhone and iPad game. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
Game progress on your device
The game stores campaign progress, stars, credits, rifle upgrades, training status, operation checkpoints, personal records and settings on your device. Final Cover does not upload your saved game to a player account or a game-save server. Your device's backup settings may include app data in an Apple or computer backup.
Local progress remains until the app's data is removed. Deleting the app removes its local game data; offloading the app can preserve it. Backups are managed separately through your device or backup provider.
Optional gameplay analytics
If you enable Share gameplay analytics, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand training difficulty, mission balance, replay choices and return visits. Information sent can include:
- Training steps, completions, skips and retry reasons.
- Mission starts, wins, losses and abandoned attempts; time played, shots, headshots, remaining integrity and threats stopped.
- Encounter variants, replay actions, upgrades and mode completions.
- App usage and session information, app version, device and operating-system information, and a Firebase app installation identifier.
Google may derive approximate location from an IP address during analytics processing. This is not GPS location. The game does not request camera, microphone, contacts or location access.
The game does not send a player name, email address or account ID with gameplay events. It does not collect advertising identifiers or use analytics for personalized advertising. An installation identifier can distinguish an app installation, so we do not describe this information as anonymous.
Google processes analytics on its infrastructure, which may be outside your country. See Firebase privacy and security and Google's privacy policy for information about Google's handling of data.
Your choice and withdrawal
Open Privacy & Analytics from Home or the pause screen to change Share gameplay analytics. Sharing is off by default, and declining it does not restrict any game mode.
Turning sharing off stops future analytics collection and resets analytics data stored locally by the SDK. It leaves game progress unchanged. It does not delete data already uploaded to Google. Re-enabling sharing starts a new local analytics collection period.
Retention and deletion requests
Uploaded user and event data is subject to the retention settings of our Google Analytics property. Standard aggregated reports are separate from those retention settings and may remain available longer. See Google Analytics data retention for how these controls work.
Contact [email protected] to ask about access, correction or deletion of your information. The game has no player account and does not attach your email address to analytics events, so an email address alone may not let us identify a particular installation's analytics. We will explain what information we can locate and what deletion options are available.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use that information to respond and retain the correspondence as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations. Please do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
Policy updates
We will update this page when the game's data practices change and revise the date above. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
